About

Deirdre McIntosh

Deirdre McIntosh is a curator from Toronto, Canada, studying at the Glasgow School of Art. Her practice draws from a slow curating methodology and embraces communal experiences. This has led to her starting her own communal stitching group, In The Loop, that will continue to evolve beyond her time in Glasgow. Her interests often emerge through proximity, as she loops herself into the hobbies of those close to her. This process ultimately drew her to crocheting, which has been the core of her recent research.
